This policy applies to all Rui Steel India Pvt. Ltd. employees , third-party personnel , and visitors across all operational areas, including: RM yard and cutting shop , Forging shop , Tool Room , Machining shops , Assembly shop , Finished goods warehouses Offices / canteens , utility areas.
All electrical systems must comply with IS safety standards.
Regular inspection and maintenance of machines to prevent overheating and oil leaks.
No welding, gas cutting, or flame-producing activities without a valid hot work permit.
Prohibit smoking in all work areas except in designated smoking zones.
Keep flammable materials (oils, paints, fuels) stored in explosion-proof, ventilated enclosures.
Use spark arrestors in exhaust systems where required.
Install and maintain:
ABC & CO₂ fire extinguishers at every 15-meter interval.
Fire & Safety Officer:
Ensure compliance with fire safety norms, Maintain fire equipment inspection logs, Conduct safety drills & training sessions
Contact local fire brigade and medical emergency services immediately Incident to be logged and reviewed within 24 hours .
Industrial fire safety training for all new employees Special training for fire wardens, machine operators, and maintenance teams
Fire extinguisher refills and servicing Fire drills and training attendance Incident reports and corrective actions taken
Policy will be reviewed annually or after any incident Compliant with Factories Act, 1948, NBC Fire Norms, and local fire department guidelines
